“I forgot blankets, I forgot pillows,” she admitted. “Bone bought me blankets, but I still didn’t have pillows.”
The 29-year-old said she had a good time on night one, and was asleep by 11 p.m.
But the next morning was the real nightmare.
“Somehow I missed packing my underwear and my socks and my bras,” Kailyn confessed. “So I had to get up and then go to the old house and get some stuff.
“What a night.”

SHOOTING SCARE
Kailyn has already made some early unique memories in her new home, not all of which will be thought of fondly.
Just a week ago, while decorating the mansion, gunshots could be heard outside of her home during an Instagram live.
The reality star and her friend Bone let the cameras roll while they were unpacking her bedroom furniture, in a clip that was captured by the fan account @teenmomchatter.
The video began when the TV personality heard a repeated banging sound that at first, they mistook for knocking.
“Oh my god did you guys hear that? Someone’s at the door!” Kailyn screamed while picking up the camera.
“Oh my god come on,” she nervously laughed while running with her friend through the house.
The MTV star ranted: “Y’all what the f**k. Was that a gunshot? Someone’s here.”
Kailyn and Bone then paced nervously through the property, looking for the source of the sound.
“Is that gunshots? What is that?” the podcast host asked, then pausing as the sound could be heard once more.
“They’re hunting. Those are gunshots,” her friend explained, adding: “It’s hunting, you live in the country.”
Kailyn then spoke to fans, saying: “You guys, it felt like someone was knocking. That was wild.”
SNOW DAYS
It was also wild just getting able to move into the new house, after she was delayed last month by a severe snowstorm that hit the entire Northeast.
In an Instagram post, she showed off her brand new kitchen and gave a move-in update.
The reality star snapped a picture of the beautiful space, complete with white marble countertops, an island, bar stools, all new appliances, and edgy lighting fixtures.
However, the TV personality’s move-in date was delayed as she revealed a snowstorm caused complications.
Kailyn captioned her post: “I can officially move in! The snow may be stopping me this weekend but before we know it I’ll be cooking in this beautiful kitchen! Check out the tile from @lazermarble.”
DESIGNING A HOME
As her move-in date neared, Kailyn shared sneak peek updates of the new mansion with her fans.
The mother of four showed that quite a bit of furniture still needed to be purchased and set up, as well as more updates and decorations to turn it into a nice home for the family.
However, the star did reveal that she’s happy with a lot of the recent developments, including the sleek fireplace.
In a recent clip, Kailyn gave a look at a portion of a wall that had been completely transformed with gray brick.
A few feet up from the floor was a sleek, rectangle fireplace.
Outlets and cable jacks appeared to be placed in the brick a few feet above that for possibly a flatscreen TV to be mounted in the future.
The rest of the room, which had wood flooring and painted walls, remained empty.
TAKING A TOLL
The moving process really took its toll on the Teen Mom star, who admitted she quit the MTV show for SIX months and is having a “really hard time” returning to filming.
The reality star opened up about her break from the show during the latest episode of her podcast Baby Mamas No Drama.
She said she gets scared about how she’ll be “perceived” and wonders “what other people will take away” from her appearance on the show.
Kailyn continued: “I took only a six month hiatus and I was like, ‘I cannot bring myself, right now, to get myself into a mind space where I’m openly sharing things on camera.
“I’m having a really hard time with that because six months felt like a lifetime for me.”
She noted she’s been doing the show since she was 16-years-old, adding: “It’s so hard to put yourself back in the hot seat and film about things that are so personal.”
