Danielle Shearsmith, from Hull, East Yorks., overhauled her lifestyle by working with a personal trainer and ditching booze in order to prioritise her baby son.

But during one Instagram live, talking all things mental health, she told a councillor she has been judged for giving up alcohol, with other mums calling her “no fun”.
In a recent post, Danielle added: “Three reasons why I don’t drink – I have a baby that is very needy with me and I want to always be available to him, when he wakes at 2am I want to be sober when I have to sit on the floor of his room.
“I want to make decisions with a clear mind always. I’m trying to be healthy and give my body a rest from alcohol, I do not need it to make me ‘fun’ I got a personality for that.
“Do I judge others for drinking? Nope! So please don’t judge me.”
Danielle’s pals were quick to comment, with one writing: “What you do is what makes you NOT what people say.”

Another added: “Always do you.”
Danielle is not the only parent to speak out about their mum-shaming experiences online.
TikTok user Charli Clelland said she is shamed over the number of boundaries she sets for those around her baby girl – including making people wash their hands before they touch her.
Meanwhile, Chey Singh, from the US, has faced criticism for the unhealthy meals she makes her kids.
And TikTok mum @Elliekets says she is mum-shamed all the time for having a C-section, with bullies claiming she “didn’t really give birth”.
The mum recently recounted someone saying: “‘Well, since you had a C-section, you didn’t go through labour, so you didn’t really give birth’.”
Hitting back, she asked: “Can we all just support each other instead of constantly comparing situations?”
