I’m a beauty fan, here’s my easy hack to stop your make-up from rubbing off on your clothes
WE’VE all been there – you’ve just completed a full-face of make-up, only for it to rub off on your clothes and leave a noticeable mark as you finish getting ready.
However, that can now be a thing of the past as a TikToker has revealed her simple hack to stop your clothes from picking up your powder, lipstick and more.
Alicia Baily, best known as @aliciabaily on the social media site, often shares videos about her life as a mum for her followers.
But one of her latest offerings is dedicated to providing a solution for the all too familiar beauty problem – and it’s already racked up over 3000 likes.
Alongside a short video, which reveals her trick, Alicia wrote: “helpful Quick hack to stop makeup going on your clothes.”
She then demonstrated her simple and easy method, showing how people only need a can of hairspray and around 20 minutes wait time to make it work.

Holding up the beige blazer she was about to put on, Alicia explained: “Spray hairspray around the neckline.”
She continued to lift the lid on the two step process, and said: “Wait for 10/20 minutes before putting it on.
As her followers flocked to the comment section saying they’d be following in her footsteps and sampling the technique for themselves, others asked why it was so effective.
Alicia replied: “Stops the make up sticking!” before answering that it works just as well on any colour, saying: “I use it on my white blazer & white tops.”
