Man Utd boss Erik ten Hag CANCELS squad day off and hauls flops into training after Brentford horror show
ERIK TEN HAG has called his Manchester United squad in for training after the 4-0 defeat to Brentford.
The players were due to have a day off on Sunday following the trip to London.
But SunSport understands Ten Hag has forced his players into Carrington for an extra training session.
The Red Devils suffered a humiliating defeat to Brentford on Saturday after conceding four goals in the first 34 minutes.
It is United’s second successive defeat after the 2-1 loss to Brighton in their opening Premier League match, and David De Gea believes his side are suffering a hangover from last season.
Following defeat to the Bees the Spaniard said: “Of course, there have been some difficult seasons and probably, it’s still in our minds.

“When something goes wrong people get panicky. It’s difficult. But we have to learn, we have a new manager and some new players. We need to be more positive, keep learning and improve.
“It’s about winning games. As soon as we win one game, two games, we’re going to start feeling better and more positive.”
De Gea also gave an insight into Ten Hag’s mindset at half-time as he tried to turn the game around.
Asked what the dutchman said, De Gea replied: “Unacceptable, what we were doing on the pitch. Nothing else to be honest. It was horrible.
