Police probe ‘suspicious death’ after man’s body found in woods next to the M11 motorway in Essex
POLICE are investigating the “suspicious” death of a man, whose body was found in the woods next to the M11 motorway in Essex.
Members of the public spotted the man on land near an industrial estate and phoned the cops as they were worried about his welfare.
Police rushed to the woodlands in Loughton around noon, but sadly the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cops are treating the man’s death as suspicious and are calling for anyone who saw a vehicle or anything around Oakwood Hill Industrial Estate last night to get in touch.
Detective Superintendent Rob Kirby, from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate, said: “We have been carrying out enquiries throughout the day and based on these we believe this man’s death is suspicious.
“A team of specialist detectives and staff are working around the clock to establish the circumstances around his death and we need anyone who saw or heard anything to come forward.
