The customer brought the items to the till and said “Just them please” to which Rebecca asked “Would you like a bag”.
Rebecca asked the customer this twice but was ignored, so continued to say “£5.82 then please”.
The customer then kept quickly trying to tap the card on the contactless machine, without waiting until it was ready.
The payment wouldn’t go through because of her frantic ways, so Rebecca said “I just need to wait for it to load, you’re being a bit quick, can you just hold it on a bit longer please”.

The customer repeatedly kept tapping the card on the machine and began huffing and puffing when it wouldn’t work.
Finally it went through and Rebecca asked “would you like a receipt?”, to which the customers looked at the items and asked “Can I have a bag please?” .

Rebecca replied: “You can, they’re just 20p”.
But the B&M customer was not happy with this and responded: “I haven’t got any change and I’m not putting 20p on my card. Can I just have a bag?”.
Rebecca confirmed: “Sorry, you do have to pay, it is a legal requirement” but the customer wasn’t happy and replied “Well you should’ve offered me a bag then shouldn’t ya?”.
Frustrated, Rebecca stated: “I did at the beginning”, to which the customer argued back “You didn’t, you didn’t offer me a bag. Can you just give me one, I’m not going to get chased out for a 20p bag am I?
“Is your job really that deep that you can’t just give me a bag? You’re always so stuck-up in here”.
Rebecca’s humorous video has clearly tickled many, as it has quickly racked up a whopping 750.2k views.
It has 82.8k likes, 1,269 comments and 667 shares.
Other retail workers understood Rebecca’s frustration and took to the comments to express this.
