Mrs Hinch shares very clever hack for mounting her new Dunelm mirror on a wall – & people’s minds are blown
THERE’S nothing more frustrating than sitting on the sofa only to realise a picture or mirror is sitting wonky.
Well, the good news is Mrs Hinch has shared her very handy hack to make sure that’s never an issue again – and it’s blowing people’s minds.
The cleaning whizz, 32, took to Instagram and shared a short series of clips showing how she mounted her new mirror from Dunelm onto the wall.
She begins: “I bought a new dining room wall mirror in Dunelm and I’m in love.”
First up, she takes a roll of masking tape and sticks a strip across the back of the mirror, ensuring the tape spans the whole width and covers the keyholes where the nails slot in.
The cleaning guru then locates the keyhole on either side and marks them using a black pen so she knows exactly where to hammer the nails on the wall.

Next, she sticks the masking tape to the wall, using a spirit level to check that it’s straight.
Taking the two pen marks as a guide, she finally hammers two nails into the wall, before removing the tape and hanging up the mirror.
