How to save hundreds on Lego, Peppa Pig, NERF & other Christmas toys – & the High Street shop slashing prices by a third
GETTING the must-have toys can be one of biggest stresses for parents at Christmas.
But before you rush out in a panic, we’ve found the cheapest prices so you can save over £100 on present buying this year.
Some parents may also want to wait until Black Friday to see if these discounts go lower.

Peppa Pig Roller Disco

There, it costs £37 but we found Very.co.uk selling it for £29.99.
Plus, if you sign up to TopCashback and are a new customer to Very, you could get up to 12 per cent back.
That means you would earn almost £3.60, taking the total cost down to £26.39.

TIPS TO CUT THE HASSLE
IT’S no surprise parents are looking for ways to save money.
Vix Leyton, Hotukdeals consumer expert and host of finance podcast False Economy, shares her tips on how to cut down the costs.

STACK DISCOUNTS: Always check for discount codes to add alongside a deal to stack for extra savings, including free delivery or extra gifts as stores will be offering more to grab attention.
If you have a rewards bank account, credit card or mobile contract, it is also worth checking out any cashback deals that come built in.
Cashback in general is a good habit to get into. While it may not have much impact on the price you pay now, by next year it could result in a nice savings pot for 2023.
SALE OR NO SALE: It is tempting to believe the big sale sticker – but always double check prices before you buy.
It is also worth having a quick look at Freecycle sites and sharing apps such as Olio to see if you can pick up what you are looking for there.
Parents might be giving away nearly new toys that could make a magical Christmas for your little ones.
I’ve seen lots of expensive items, such as bikes, being offered that their children have grown out of.
RESEARCH IT: Shopping around is crucial and doesn’t have to mean trawling through Google.

BE CAREFUL WITH CREDIT: Really think carefully before you put a present on credit.
It might be tempting now but if you can’t afford to pay it back, you could end up paying for it come January.
It is especially important this year with so much financial uncertainty.
If you are going to use credit, make sure you apply for a zero per cent spending deal and can pay it off before the interest-free period ends.
