The One Show host Alex Jones forced to apologise after very awkward moment live on air
THE One Show’s Alex Jones has been left red-faced after suffering an awkward blunder live on air.
Alex, 45, was chatting to celebrity guest Gabby Logan during Wednesday’s episode when her mobile phone began ringing loudly.

Looking around in horror, Alex stuttered: “Oh, that’s my ring…”
Also checking behind the sofa, her co-host Jermaine Jenas chipped in: “I think that is, yeah!”
Gabby attempted to make light of the embarrassing situation, joking that the gym was calling Alex, but she still felt the need to apologise.

Before quickly brushing her blunder off and returning to her story about the fitness class, Alex said to viewers: “Anyway, sorry!”
Alex’s on-air apology comes just a fortnight after she was forced to say “sorry” to viewers of The One Show for another reason.
Scots-born singer Lewis Capaldi was appearing on the BBC One teatime show when he turned the air blue – twice.
Lewis, 26, first swore after being congratulated on topping the music charts with his hit single Forget Me.
