I’m obsessed with my Air Fryer – how to make the perfect Christmas dessert with yours that the family will love
MILLIONS of Britons have invested in nifty air fryers this year, so here’s how you can get the most out of one this Christmas.
The kitchen gadget has become an essential in kitchens across the UK throughout 2022.
Air fryers became popular after being billed as a healthier alternative to frying with oil and quicker than using an oven to crisp up food.
This means many are on the search for how to use it to their advantage over the festive period.
Luckily, TikTok trio Caught Snackin have come up with an irresistible Christmas dessert option
Guaranteed to leave tummies happy, the dish is a fun take on a bread and butter-style pudding.
Instead of bread, you’ll be using croissants for a sweeter option.
All you need are three ingredients – Nutella, custard and croissants.
First, the voiceover from co-creator Jason says: “Slice your croissant in half and then give it a bath of custard.”
He then places bits of croissant across the bottom, before layering it with custard and Nutella.
Jason recommends using four croissants, 500ml of custard and five table spoons of the beloved chocolate spread.
All you need to do is pop it in the air fryer for eight minutes at 170 degrees.
When you take it out the device, you’ll be left with a gorgeous dessert which is perfect for your Christmas table.
Those watching were quick to comment on the incredible looking dish, which they were keen to replicate.
One person wrote: “Alright I’m more desperate than ever to get an air fryer.”
Someone else chimed in: “Yes!!! I’m making that now.”
