Lisa Marie Presley looked frail & clung to Elvis star Austin Butler’s arm in photos days before medical crisis
LISA Marie Presley looked frail in the days leading up to the Golden Globe awards on Tuesday.
Two days later, Elvis’s daughter was rushed to the hospital after reportedly suffering a cardiac arrest.
Lisa Marie, 54, had to cling to actor Austin Butler’s arm in photos before the show.
Austin famously played Lisa Marie’s dad, Elvis Presley, and just two days before her health crisis, he won the Golden Globe for his role as the rocker in the self-titled biopic.
Wearing an all-black dress, Lisa-Marie wrapped her arms around the actor for support as she walked.
Her eyes looked distant and tired and she had a slight slouch.
TMZ reported that Lisa Marie’s housekeeper found her unresponsive in her bedroom, while ex-husband, Danny Keough performed CPR until paramedics arrived.
Paramedics reportedly also performed CPR on the 54-year-old daughter of Elvis at her Calabasas home before taking her in for treatment.
Lisa Marie reportedly went into “full arrest” and was given adrenaline at least once to help her regain her pulse.
Her current condition is unknown at this time.
Online, fans were worried.
“Prayers up for Lisa Marie Presley and her family,” one person tweeted. “She has been through much in her life. I didn’t think she looked well at the Golden Globes this week.”
Another echoed: “She didn’t look well at the Golden Globes. She’s ONLY 54.”
While a third added: “Lisa Marie Presley did look awful at the Golden Globes.”
LIVING CONDITIONS
As The U.S. Sun revealed, Lisa Marie has been living with her ex since their son’s tragic suicide.
An insider told The Sun her and Danny are living together in a new home with her twin daughters, Harper and Finley, after her former $2million property sold two years ago.
The source said: “Danny has moved around a lot in the past but came back to be by Lisa’s side immediately when they were left devastated by Ben’s death, he was staying with her at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
“They are living at a house in Calabasas and have been grieving together.”
The source said they are not thought to be romantically involved but have become “very close again.”
Lisa Marie was left heartbroken after her son Benjamin died in 2020, and an autopsy revealed he had cocaine and alcohol in his system at the time of his suicide – while he previously tried to take his life just months earlier.
“Lisa is still completely shattered,” they added. “Ben was her whole world and she struggled to see sense of what happened.”
KING’S LEGACY
Lisa Marie is the only child of iconic musician Elvis and actress Priscilla Presley.
Born on February 1, 1968, she is the sole heir to her father’s estate, with the crooner dying when she was just nine years old.
A savvy businesswoman, Presley has released a number of albums including “To Whom It May Concern”, “Now What” and “Storm & Grace”.
Her first album went platinum, with it being praised as having a “distinctive flair”.
She has also spoken out to support sufferers of AIDS.
LOVE AND MARRIAGE
Lisa Marie has been married four times, including to singer Michael Jackson for two years.
Twenty days after her divorce to Danny was finalized, the singer then married Michael Jackson in 1994.
The pair met in 1975 when a seven-year-old Presley attended several of his concerts in Las Vegas and became friends in adult life in 1992 when she helped him through his most troubled times.
But it wasn’t meant to be and the couple split in 1996.
She then married Nicholas Cage, with the marriage lasting just 108 days in 2002.
Presley went on to marry her music producer Michael Lockwood, with the pair having twin daughters. They divorced after 10 years of marriage.
