I’m a tattooed teacher and I don’t hide them away – people are amazed my outfits are allowed
ONE teacher has ink all over her classroom and her skin.
Elementary educator Iva Jorg doesn’t shy away from revealing her tattooed arm sleeves during the school day.
Iva posted a video on her TikTok (@ivajorg) to show off her first day of school outfit.
The second-grade teacher bore a casual look that exposed her skin.
She took a deep breath and admitted her nerves were surfacing.
Iva wore a light blue T-shirt from Etsy tucked into a pair of Abercrombie jeans with white platform Converse.
Under her shirt, the dark art hugging her forearms was visible.
“I think we got this,” Iva proclaimed.
“I think it’s going to be okay. Oh my god, it’s not going to be okay.”
While Iva was more concerned over her meet-and-greet with the new students, viewers focused on her permanent ink.
A curious follower asked: “Was it hard to get a job with your tattoos?”
“So far I’ve had no issues! I’ve had plenty of school district jobs, from teaching to working in the legal dept,” Iva responded.
Another individual questioned: “Teachers can have tattoos?!”
“Normalize teachers with tattoos,” a supporter expressed.
Iva wrote: “We are people too, and we wanna express ourselves!”
An experienced woman admitted: “I love that you don’t need to hide tattoos! I’m a receptionist at an elementary, and I need to cover mine.”
“Omg, I’m so happy I found you! I have tattoos on both arms, and I’ve been so nervous to start teaching because of them,” one honest woman commented.
A sweet fan noted: “They’re gonna think you’re so pretty and cool with your tattoos.”
