Boy, 8, dead and man in his 40s and boy, 10, fighting for life after motorbike ploughs into pedestrians in London
A BOY has died after a motorbike ploughed into pedestrians in South East London.
A man in his 40s and a 10-year-old boy are also fighting for their lives after the horror crash.
Cops, London Ambulance Service and the Air Ambulance rushed to the scene in Plumstead Road, Woolwich, around 7.30pm on Sunday.
Police have confirmed this afternoon the schoolboy sadly died at the scene.
His family are currently being supported by specialist officers.
It’s understood the man and boy, who remain in a life-threatening condition, were crossing the road at the time.
The rider of the motorbike was a 20-year-old man – he has been assessed as not life threatening.
There has currently been no arrests.
A large number of road closures remain in place and enquiries into the circumstances continue.
