I made gooey cookies in my Air Fryer and trolls said they were a total fail – they tasted amazing so who cares
THERE’S almost nothing your trusty Air Fryer can’t cook, from full roast dinners to fluffy pancakes there’s a reason foodies love them so much.
But when one woman attempted to make gooey chocolate chip cookies in her Air Fryer trolls thought they were a total fail.
Despite appearances, Sofia, who shared the clip on her TikTok account @brazillianfoodie, insisted the sweet snacks tasted delicious.
Sofia said the recipe she usually follow takes 30 minutes but she was happy with the results after just two.
Using pre-made cookie dough, the food fan started by adding four equal sized balls into her Air Fryer.
After two minutes the outside of the ball of dough were golden brown, which was good enough for the foodie.
But on closer inspection the cookies weren’t quite cooked, but Sofa told viewers they were delicious anyway.
She told viewers it’s safe to eat the brand of cookie dough she used raw, so “it’s ok” to eat.
But not everyone was convinced by her gooey snack.
“Revoking your Air Fryer privileges,” one user joked in the comment section.
A second wrote: “I’d rather take an entire year to make one cookie than make 100 of those in 30 seconds.”
And a third quipped: “Un-cookies.”
Meanwhile, other users were confused why she cut the time down from 30 minutes to two minutes.
“If you undercook anything it will take less time,” one joked.
Another agreed: “You should flip them, four minutes on each side.”
But not everyone thought the snacks looked bad, one said: “They lowkey look good.”
“I’d still eat them let’s be honest,” another wrote.
