I did a PLT maternity haul, it was a fail, the jeans were uncomfortable and one outfit made me look like an ABBA tribute
A PREGNANT woman has been left unimpressed after doing a PrettyLittleThing maternity clothes haul.
Finding outfits that are comfortable and look incredible while expecting a child is a major task to undertake and no one knows this better than TikTok user Laura Louise (@lauralouu22).
At 37 weeks pregnant, Laura decided to get herself a few new items to accommodate her blossoming baby bump.
Starting her clip off in a white T-shirt with grey leggings and a pair of white trainers, she styled her blonde mane down and appeared excited to open her pink plastic bag full of PLT clothes.
But it didn’t go exactly as planned as the very first outfit she tried on looked like it could be a tribute to ABBA.
Wearing a white jumpsuit with flares, she opted not to put the sleeves on and instead used them to twirl around as she sang: “ABBA tribute, here I come!”
She then put the sleeves only to find that they were too long.
Her next outfit was more of a success as she tried on a dark grey-purple short-sleeved jumpsuit that had a matching belt tied at the front.
“I really like this,” she said. “This is nice”.
But, again, she was left unimpressed when she had no choice but to cover herself with a white T-shirt after a pair of green trousers didn’t go past her knees.
Following this, Laura tried on a beige, floor-length ribbed dress. This clearly didn’t take her fancy either as she pulled faces before saying: “Nah”.
Next, she tried on a pair of maternity jeans, which had a black stretchy section at the top.
“I’m intrigued to see what they’re like on,” she told viewers. But as soon as she put them on, she couldn’t help but “feel like a builder”.
Placing her hands on the bottom of her belly, she then explained that they feel “a bit uncomfortable here”.
“No!” she said as she ended the clip and added in the caption: “well pretty little thing that was a fail”. [sic]
People gushed over Laura’s humour while others thanked her for her honest review before they went out to purchase the clothes themselves.
“I’m so glad I saw this before I ordered!!” one person said as she replied: “I hope this helped”.
Meanwhile, other people suggested she try H&M or New Look for their maternity wear.
