Beauty fans go wild over a 1p hack which removes failed eyeliner with no mess – & you won’t be looking like a panda
MAKE-UP enthusiasts have discovered an easy hack that removes failed eyeliner in seconds – and it costs just a penny.
Unless you’re an experienced make-up pro, pulling off winged eyeliner can be quite tricky – and most of the times, you’ll end up looking like a hot mess.
But rather than removing all the make-up and doing it all over again, the beauty community on TikTok has shared a hack to take it off in seconds.
The game-changer of a trick was shared by TikTok user Kiki (@kswiisha) who decided to give it a go after seeing it on social media.
According to the young woman, believed to be from the US, the answer is simple – all you need is a bit of sticky tape.
After drawing on her cat eye-inspired eyeliner, Kiki let it dry for a little while before placing on a teeny bit of clear tape, the video showed.
Then, a few seconds later, she proceeded to remove it – and the black eyeliner came off along with the tape.
Seeing the results and the mess left, Kiki exclaimed: ”No!
”I actually am so shook this is a life changing makeup hack fr [for real].”
Fellow beauty fans were just as stunned, as over 3k viewers flocked to comments to thank her.
”No bc [because] the amount of eyeliner carpet burn I could have AVOIDED…” one penned.
Someone else was glad to have found the trick too, writing: ”The way I’ve actually cancelled plans because my eyeliner wasn’t going the way I wanted to.”

Once you’ve mastered the eyeliner, it’s time to move onto foundation.
But avid make-up fans will know this also means ruined winter jackets, with stains around the collar area.
Fortunately, there is an easy fix for that too – and it costs just 1p.
The simple yet effective trick was shared on TikTok by My Daily Makeup and has since gone viral, racking up over a whopping 540k views.
According to the beauty enthusiast, the answer doesn’t involve washing machine – all you need is a make-up brush cleaner.
Rather than chucking in your jacket for a wash, simply spray some of the solution directly onto the make-up stains.
In her tutorial, the woman ensured the area was saturated, before taking a clean tissue and wiping it several times.
If you feel like the foundation stain isn’t coming off that easily, spray some more and let it sit for a while – this should do the trick.
Demonstrating the amazing Before and After results, the TikTok fan was stunned: ”Wow, okay!”
Impressed by the hack, social media users flocked to comments, where many also shared their top tips for tackling the issue.
”Shaving foam works a treat,” one fashionista claimed.
Another recommended: ”Use a tiny drip of washing up liquid and a bit of water and boom. Clean.”
”hairspray on your collar before wearing works too,” read someone else’s suggestion.
”baby wipes work,” a fourth wrote under the clip.
