Furious Love Island fans brand show fake over ‘staged’ conversations as they slam producers
LOVE Island fans have slammed bosses and branded the show ‘fake’ after enduring a series of conversations between the islanders.
Viewers watched as each of the couples chatted about their futures once they have left the villa during Tuesday night’s show.
Among the ‘promises’ that were made, Australian Jessie Wynter told farmer Will Young that she will move onto his farm and help out with the animals.
Tanya Manhenga told Shaq Muhammad that they will go and watch a football game together, while Kai Fagan said he would make Sanam Harrinanan his “girlfriend”.
But fans were not buying it and shared their thoughts among each other online.
One tweeted: “What is all this fake chat between couples? I dont believe any of them.”
A second added: “ARGHHHHH this lovey dovey stuff is so fake it’s crazy.”
A third chimed in: “This whole episode feels like the most staged episode of television I’ve ever watched.”
And someone else ranted: “Oh for heaven’s sake. All these earnest, forced conversations about feelings.
“All so staged and directed. There wasn’t a single spontaneous genuine conversation in the last forty five minutes!”
Meanwhile, after their chats played out, the Islanders were told to gather by the fire pit.
They then learned via a series of texts that one couple were about to be evicted.
Despite their lovey dovey declaration, Tanya and Shaq were among the three weakest couples, as were Jessie and Will.
They faced the public vote alongside Casey and Rosie – who ended up dumped from the villa.
