I’m a Hooters waitress – there’s something people don’t know about our short-shorts
A HOOTERS waitress has revealed some of the most common questions about the job, sharing some tips on the company’s iconic orange shorts.
The TikTok influencer provided a breakdown of Hooters’ complex clothing rules and regulations.
The video was posted by Nikki Beth (@nikkibethfit), who shared a look at two different versions of the famed Hooters orange shorts, an older version and a newer version.
“These are the old shorts,” she said, showing them off to the camera. “They fit me like dancer or volleyball shorts.”
Then she showed off the new model of Hooters shorts, which are shorter and tighter.
“These are the new ones,” she said.
“Yes, they’re higher cut. But here’s my word of advice: you should probably wear a size up in these than you were in your old shorts. They will fit better, I promise,” she said.
Over the course of the video, Nikki explained some of the rules and regulations in Hooters when talking about clothing, sharing that there are plenty of options for waitresses to choose from.
She showed off multiple tops that had long and short sleeves and shared that she could wear any type of top she wanted.
“We are not standardized to wear any of these shirts,” she said.
“We wear whatever we want.”
Followers were impressed by the amount of Hooters clothing she showed off, asking her if the store provided them for her.
“Or is it given to you when you get the job?”
“No my supplement company sponsors me on the side,” wrote Nikki.
Another follower asked her if workers had to buy all of her clothes. Nikki said that she did, surprising readers, but made it clear that the clothing is affordable.
Other followers shared their stories working at Hooters.
“I work at Hoa also and we don’t have any black uniforms or cropped shirts,” wrote someone.
“Which store do you work for?” replied Nikki.
“Every region I’ve trained in I always have my girls in black on Friday.”
