I’m slim with ‘little curves’ and tried the viral Skims dress – men say I look ‘absolutely amazing’
A SLIM-SIZED woman who tried a dress that has gone viral has excited her fans with her new look, but she wasn’t quite so sure.
The brand has become well-known for the pneumatic shape it gives women.
But, because of her shape, NewJoysey (@newjoysey) wondered if it would work on her.
In a recent post to her TikTok, she decided to give it a go and try the Skims dress that is all the rage on social media.
Skims is a shapewear brand, co-founded by Kim Kardashian, which has been enormously successful, catering to women of all sizes.
“Trying on the viral Skims dress as a petite woman with little curves,” she captioned her post.
In the video, NewJoysey wore white shorts, and a grey cropped tank top and she used a turquoise sheet for the dramatic reveal moment.
When it came, the transition was complete and she slayed the little black number.
NewJoysey, however, was mixed minds about it: “To be honest it looks fine but I think it’s more my body and less the dress? The material is very thin lol,” she said.
She appealed to her followers for their opinions: “I need help, fashion queen,” she said.
Any doubts were swiftly swept away by her fans, who were unanimous: it looked great.
“You look absolutely amazing,” said one fan in a breathless response.
Others agreed: “You look so good,” and “Beyond gorgeous,” were the views of several.
Finally, it was the moment she revealed the dress that excited this viewer “That transition though,” he said.
