I’m single and live in a shed in the woods – I get snowed in all the time but I still love doing DIY in my crop tops
A SINGLE woman who lives alone in a cabin in the woods has revealed she is renovating her kitchen by herself.
DIY doesn’t stop Lisette Brisson from being glamorous as she is completing the project in a strappy crop top… despite her home being surrounded by a thick blanket of snow.
Among her DIY projects are renovating her stairs, building an outdoor shower, insulating her walls and laying down the cabin’s wooden flooring.
Lisette’s latest project is renovating her kitchen while there is constant snowfall outside.
The weather is so extreme that snow is piling up against her cabin.
However, this hasn’t deterred Lisette from doing DIY clad in a spaghetti strap crop top and dungarees.
The ex-road construction inspector has previously shut down trolls that slated her for showing off her assets.
Her mantra is that people are not defined by what they choose to wear.
She said: “My clothes are irrelevant.
“I wear what I want and it is hot in my cabin.
“I’ve always dressed this way and I shall continue.
“Clothes do not define someone’s character.”
Lisette has been off-grid for seven years and usually spends birthdays, Christmas and weekends alone.
She has two German Shepherds Kimber and Miss Snow to keep her company.
Her cabin is in forest land in Ontario, Canada, where the weather is currently below freezing.
Lisette is using the time to renovate her kitchen and has already tiled the walls ready for new appliances – particularly a sink.
Taking to YouTube, she said: “I ordered a kitchen sink and it is way too big and heavy.
“So that’s not gonna work.
“I will need to find a smaller sink.”
And rather than installing plumbing, Lisette is tripping back to basics and planning to use a bucket under the sink for her kitchen duties.
Her the content creator has built a loyal following on social media of people interested in her off-grid living.
As well as DIY videos, she also shares cooking tutorials, clips frolicking in the wilderness and playing with her dogs.
