Asda shoppers share their bargains that scanned through cheaper at the tills – from 2p body mists to £1.20 duvet sets
IS there anything better than nabbing yourself a bargain when you least expect it?
Well, the answer is no according to these Asda shoppers who all rushed online to show off the bargain buys they picked up in store that scanned through much cheaper at the tills.
Amongst the thrilled shoppers was Anne Dodd who headed to the tills with the “So…? Escapes Body Mist” gift set.
But while she thought she was forking out £5 on the summer scents, she soon found out she’d actually got herself a total bargain.
Taking to Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, she penned: “This was priced at £5 on the shelf in Asda but scanned at 2p.”
“The blue ones were still full price.”
Another shopper named Laura Elliott was just as delighted after she spotted a stunning marble patterned duvet set which had already been reduced to £8.50.
But little did she know the bargain deal was about to get even better…

“Always worth using scan & go so you can see prices before getting to the till,” she wrote.
“Picked up the double of this as it was already on offer for £8.50, scanned it and it came up at £4.25!
“So I checked the others as well, the king scanned at £5 and the single £3.50!
“Just the bargain I needed.”
For anyone wondering, Laura pointed out: “This was at Asda Melksham.”
Elsewhere, Parker Fox also nabbed herself some cut-price bedding.
Alongside a snap of a floral and rabbit-themed duvet set which includes two pillowcases, she penned: “Scanned at £1.20 in Asda.”
The posts have gathered hundreds of likes and comments between them, with many social media users quick to congratulate the shoppers on their reduced-price finds.
“Love the design and what a good price!” enthused one.
A second praised: “Fabulous and what a bargain!”
A third added: “Beautiful!”
