This Morning’s Phillip Schofield replaced for a fourth day as fans all say the same thing
THIS Morning star Phillip Schofield has been replaced on the show by Joel Dommett again today as the comic hosted alongside Holly Willoughby.
Holly, 42, shared the news shortly before they were due to go live on the ITV show.
The This Morning star told fans alongside a snap with The Masked Singer presenter on Instagram: “Day 2 @joeldommett … see you on @thismorning at 10am!”
Joel, 37, first joined Holly on the sofa on Wednesday while Phillip Schofield takes a week off.
Alison Hammond stepped in for Phil on Monday and Tuesday, and she will return to host This Morning on Friday in her usual slot with Dermot O’Leary.
Fans reacted to Joel returning for a second day in a row, and one said: “Hell yeah!”
Another said: “You made a good team xxx”
However, one more said: “Where b Phil. Like Alison , Like Joel but Holy n Phil are like Roast Beef n Yorkie puds”
Holly and Joel have not addressed Phil’s absence, but it is understood Phillip will then return to his usual presenting duties on Monday, April 3, 2023.
The presenter is missing from the daytime show while his brother stands trial accused of carrying out a sex act with a teenage boy.
Phil’s younger brother Timothy Schofield, 54, has gone on trial.
He has been accused of 11 charges of interfering with a child.
Tim Schofield is understood to have carried out the attacks while working for Avon and Somerset Police.
The most serious charge involved a sex act with the teenager.
Other alleged offences include forcing the child to watch pornography and watch him while he “engaged in a sexual activity”.
The alleged offences took place between October 2016 and October 2019. He denies the charges.
