Gemma Owen wows in figure-hugging dress just days after shock death at dad’s stables
GEMMA Owen looked a million dollars in a glam dress at the racing – days before a 25-year-old woman suddenly died at her dad’s stables.
The tragedy happened on Tuesday at the Manor House Stables in Malpas, Cheshire.
Love Island star Gemma last night shared a throwback photo of her outfit for the annual Dubai World Cup, which took place on Saturday.
The 19-year-old, who is Michael Owen‘s daughter, wowed in the fishtail number that featured dramatic caped sleeves.
The teenager wore her hair in tonged curls and added smokey eyes and a pop of lip liner to complete the look.
Gemma captioned her post: “Late post from the Dubai World Cup this dress…”
Her pals were full of praise for the stunner, and one said: “Wow love that colour on you!!”
Another gushed: “love the dress it’s beautiful”
Emergency services attended Michael’s racing yard after beauty queen Jessica Whalley fell ill around 8.50am on Tuesday and was tragically pronounced dead at the scene, Cheshire Police said.
Jessica, 25, could not be revived by paramedics after falling from her horse at Manor House Stables.
Officers said the death is not being treated as suspicious.
Tributes flooded in following the tragedy, with one woman revealing she had seen Michael “in tears”.
Writing on Facebook, she said: “So sad seeing him and all his staff in tears today, after such a shock to them, such a young age.”
Michael, 43, co-owns the stables with Love Island star daughter Gemma, who competes for Great Britain in dressage.
