B&M shoppers have been rushing to buy a “bargain” dual air fryer that’s scanning at the till for £50 less than its original price.

The discount store is known for its cheap deals and bargain finds.

The shopper spotted the deal and shared it on Facebook
Shoppers can save £50

B&M is currently selling the Tower 7.5 litre air fryer for £99 instead of £149, saving shoppers £50.

It comes with two individual frying basket and six cooking settings.

One happy shopper found the deal and posted it in Facebook’s Extreme Couponing & Bargains group.

And shoppers were raving about it in the comments.

One tagged her friend and said: “Think I need to get one of them.”

Another commented “so cheap”, while someone else said “that’s a bargain”.

Someone else wrote: “I have this one, three-year warranty, you can’t go wrong.”

Of course, do shop around for the best deal – this may not be the cheapest.

Do use sites like Google Shopping or the Latest Deals app to help compare prices with other retailers.

At the time of writing, Wilko was selling a 2.5 litre air fryer for £35, though of course this is a lot smaller than B&M’s.

Asda is selling an 8 litre air fryer, but for £95 so it’s worth tallying up what size you’d need and how much you’d use it to work out which is the cheaper option for you.

Remember it isn’t a steal if you weren’t planning on buying one anyway.

This isn’t the first time shoppers have come across items that are selling for much less than their original price.

Robert Dyas was selling a 12L air fryer that was going for £130 than it’s original price – £90 down from £230.

Elsewhere, Costco was selling a dual basket air fryer for £79.99. That’s nearly £20 less than its original price of £95.98.

How much does it cost to run an air fryer?

It’s all very well finding a cheap price tag but make sure you know how much air fryers cost to run too.

Especially as energy bills are set to go up from tomorrow (April 1).

The government’s Energy Price Guarantee (EPG) promises to keep average bills at £2,500 a year.

It was extended until July in chancellor Jeremy Hunt’s Budget.

But millions of households will see a change to energy bills next month.

Keep in mind the cost depends on how often you use air fryer, which model you use and who your energy supplier is, but we have rough estimates for you.

The power of an air fryer is measured in watts, and this determines how much energy it uses – and the cost of using it.

But the more powerful the appliance, the quicker it will cook your food too.

A 1,000W air fryer costs just 17p to run for 30 minutes and 34p to run for an hour.

While a 1,500W air fryer will set you back 26p for half an hour, and 51p for an hour’s use.

You shouldn’t always assume that your new gadget is going to save you money as well as calories. But sometimes it might help.

And don’t forget there are little-known ways to save money – our article tells you about a hidden way to shave £53 off your yearly energy bill. And it only takes one simple switch.
