I’m a size 24 and I’ve finally found some thigh-high boots I can do up – they’re a dream for wider legs
SUMMER may be around the corner, but it looks like thigh boots are here to stay.
And plus-size fashion influencer, Emma Hill, has finally found a pair of boots that fit.
Taking to her TikTok account, @emmatamsinhill, the size 24 fashion fan showed off her new boots – and was seriously chuffed they fit.
Emma was gifted a pair of the Koi wide-fit, thigh-high boots to test out.
In the video, she said: “These are wide-fit, thigh-high boots that apparently are made specifically to fit us chunky thigh sisters.”
After pulling them out the box, Emma was unsure whether they would fit ‘I don’t know,’ she uttered.
But after playing around with the boot she added: “Ohh, they are stretchy.”
Emma then tried the flat thigh-high boots on, adding: “Okay the boot part fits on my foot, we’re off to a good start.”
Now, it was time to see if they really would fit her calf.
She hoisted the boot over her thigh and went to do up the zip, “Did you hear that?” she asked as the zipper went up with no hassle.
“I’m in shock,” she exclaimed.
“I don’t think I’ve ever owned a pair of thigh-high boots in my life because they would never, ever do up.”
Emma then went to put the other boot and showed viewers how they looked.
The boots came up a few inches above the knee, and Emma was still in shock that they fit.
She added: “I’m just in shock because these were not hard to get on at all.”
“I have big chunky legs and they fit no bother.
“They weren’t even hard to zip up, I wasn’t even struggling.”
Emma said she order the boots in a size nine but could have done with an eight.
“Ok come through with the wide-fit and wide-calf boots, I can’t believe how well these fit, thank you for gifting me these, they are so cute,” she captioned the post.
The video has since gone viral with over 18k views and over 1,000 comments.
People were quick to share their thoughts in the comments section of the video.
One person wrote: “Ohh they’re fire, I’m definitely getting these.”
Another commented: “I have been influenced.”
YES, I’ve been looking for a pair,” penned a third.
A fourth asked: “Omg I need these, do they roll down after a period of time though?”
Emma replied: “They are rolling down on me a little bit at the thigh but I wore them around the house and they didn’t slip down any more than that.”
Meanwhile, another added: “They are cute but they aren’t thigh-high.”
I feel like they’d cut my circulation off,” claimed a fifth.
