I’m a female custodian – people insult my job but there’s nothing wrong with cleaning bathrooms, money is money
INTERNET trolls are quick to be dismissive of any life choice they don’t agree with or understand.
When one person made fun of a woman for doing custodial work, she had no choice but to slay in response.
On her TikTok page, 23-year-old Tatiana (@uhtatiana) mentioned her day job, working as a custodian.
One troll seized on the content creator’s casual comment, but Tatiana quickly responded with a video to sweep off the criticism.
In a comment on one of her other videos, the rude commenter made fun of Tatiana when she mentioned cleaning a public bathroom.
Trailing off in apparent disbelief, the troll asked, “Why are you cleaning bathrooms…”
Tatiana filmed her response in a very pointed setting: at work.
Standing in front of two toilet stalls, she propped her phone on an impeccably-clean countertop.
She wore her blue work shirt tucked into smart black pants.
The audio clip in the background added to the ambiance, and made it clear true queens can look fabulous no matter the setting.
“Did somebody say…slay?” the smooth voice asked as Tatiana struck a series of poses.
As she smirked at the camera and flipped her long, polished ponytail over her shoulder, a caption appeared on the screen.
She even blew a kiss to the camera, giving a sassy farewell to her would-be troll.
“I am a working woman!” Tatiana proudly proclaimed in the text.
To avoid any suspicion of laziness, she added a caveat in the video’s description.
“A working woman who was on her break when I took this,” Tatiana said.
Her followers were quick to hype her up and dismiss the trolls who dared try to make her feel ashamed.
“Some people actually have to work,” one commenter said. “Nothing wrong with cleaning bathrooms.”
Another enthusiastically said that they’d also done custodial work and loved it.
In response, Tatiana bragged that she was exceptional at her job. “I can’t even lieeee,” she said.
One commenter argued that Tatiana’s job didn’t matter, as long as she was making money.
“A bag is a bag,” the supportive viewer wrote.
Tatiana continued the phrase, adding, “Is a bag is a bag.”
