I’m a gym girl – I ‘only’ lost 10 lbs of baby weight but it looks like way more, I’m telling ladies to ‘toss the scale’
A FITNESS fan has shared her stunning transformation, but revealed that the number on the scale didn’t change much.
The certified personal trainer said she only lost 10 pounds and she’s suggesting women get rid of their bathroom scales.
Mallory King (@mallorykingfitness) shared her photos at the beginning of her health journey in a candid video.
“POV: you work out for a year and ‘only’ lose 10 pounds,” she wrote.
Mallory shared some no-nonsense advice for those on a path to wellness.
“Please toss your scale,” she added in the caption.
The video struck a chord with viewers who shared their two cents in the comment section.
“Body recomp is amazing,” one wrote. “You look incredible.”
“Body recomposition baby,” another added. “Slow and steady is the name of the game for sustainable progress.”
“Literally me,” a third commented. “Down 15 pounds, but lost 10 inches in my waist alone.”
“I’m on month three and gained four pounds, but I feel so much stronger,” yet another said. “I’m lucky my scale broke I haven’t replaced it.”
“Been working out for a year and weigh more now than I ever have,” one more said.
The video came as part of a trend of women sharing their road to fitness.
