I showed my belly rolls in my undies – I look toned when I pose but it’s an illusion, women need to love their bodies
A CURVY woman has pulled back the curtain to show how most bodies online are an illusion.
She reinforced the notion that women must love their bodies of all shapes and sizes.
Content creator Emily (@imnotbunny) shared a body positive message catered to her online audience.
She proudly removed the filter and showed how her body looks in real life.
In a TikTok video, the brunette compared her curvy shape to the many edited photos shown on social media.
“Literally, put that phone down and STOP COMPARING. Everything is curated,” she boldly wrote in the video’s caption.
When the video began, she held the camera so close to her face that it took up the whole frame.
The subtitle “Reminder that social media is literally so fake,” was written over the visual.
Then, an edited photo appeared of the beauty wearing a matching pink lingerie set that showed off her curves.
It seamlessly transitioned into a video of her no longer sucking in and letting her belly and cellulite be on full display.
She repeated this action in three more stylish albeit revealing outfits from fashion brand Adore Me, showcasing herself au natural.
While sitting down in a pink lace lingerie set in a photo, she relaxed in the video to show the multiple rolls on her stomach.
Emily did the same thing in a pink gingham bikini, before moving into her final look.
She posed with her hand in her long black hair and a hip popped while wearing a long-sleeved red, white, and orange patterned bikini top and matching string bottoms.
That visual effortlessly jumped to a video of her letting her stomach hang loose as she turned to the side.
Posing plays a large part in how people look online, and Emily proved that it’s all an illusion.
Many people praised her for her confident message.
“You’re the first person to make me love my pooch,” a fan commented.
“This is incredibly real. Thank you,” another chimed in.
“You are so brave and soooo COOL. Love you,” another TikTok user added.
