Horse racing tips: Templegate NAP can make it SIX wins in a row plus a 12-1 fancy who’s back to form
TEMPLEGATE tackles Saturday’s blockbuster action confident of finding you a few winners.

PADDINGTON (3.40 Sandown, nap)
He can make the most of his weight allowance in a slightly disappointing renewal of the Coral-Eclipse. The Aidan O’Brien star has not tasted defeat since his debut and made it five wins on the spin with plenty in hand at Royal Ascot, putting Chaldean in his place.
STENTON GLIDER (3.00 Sandown, nb)
Maturing with every run and went close in the German 1,000 Guineas last month after finding the Newmarket version a bit much. This trip is ideal and she has a lot more to offer on this drop in class.
TEUMESSIAS FOX (3.15 Haydock, treble)
He was backed off the boards for the Duke Of Edinburgh Stakes but didn’t enjoy the scrum around Ascot’s round course. That’s not his true form with a convincing win at Newmarket in May much more like it.
Templegate’s verdicts for Saturday’s big races
SANDOWN

TIBER FLOW ran the race of his life when scoring at Newcastle last week and can back it up on turf.
He had to come from a mile back to win the Chipchase but it was cosy in the end. He can strike again under Tom Marquand despite the drop in distance.
Annaf ran a cracker when third in the Group 1 King’s Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot and is an obvious threat.
This trip is ideal and he should find this a bit easier.
Equality clocked a big personal best when winning a Windsor handicap latest.
This is stronger opposition but a repeat of that effort would take him close.
Raasel won this 12 months ago and can be forgiven one poor run in the King’s Stand last time. His liking for the track is an asset.
Makarova relished the quick ground when winning an Ayr Listed contest last time.
This is tougher but she can’t be ruled out.
Get Ahead was just pipped in a hot contest in France latest while Lady Hamana came back to her best here last time. This is tougher but it wouldn’t be a shock if she hit the frame.

SCEPTIC improved when winning at Goodwood last time. That was just his second handicap run so there should be more to come.
He has gone up 6lb but can improve past that over this ideal distance. Hollie Doyle takes over today and can steer him to another win.
Perotto was sent off favourite for the Royal Hunt Cup last time but was too close to the breakneck pace and didn’t last home.
He likes this trip and has had a nudge down the weights.
Major Partnership didn’t have to hit top gear when scoring at Nottingham. He’s creeping up the weights but has each-way claims again.
Indemify was sold for £125,000 after winning over course and distance in late May.
He’s been raised a fair 5lb for that and his new connections clearly feel there’s more to come.
Ouzo ran a cracker when sixth in the Royal Hunt Cup and is best over this trip. This track suits and he’s one for the shortlist.
Spirit Catcher is consistent although he doesn’t win that many. He was beaten in a photo over this trip at Newcastle last time so his time may have come.

This trip is ideal and she has a lot more to offer on this drop in class.
Magical Sunset was drawn on the wrong side in the Sandringham Handicap at Royal Ascot and was a clear winner in her group.
She looks well up to this standard and is a must for the shortlist.
Bridestones is another who didn’t get much luck at Ascot last time.
The Gosdens tried her at Group 1 level in May so she must have shown them something.
She’s a strong stayer who should be capable of better than we’ve seen on the track so far.
Maggie’s Way didn’t have a lot to beat at Nottingham last time but did it nicely.
She’s had a two-month break since than handicap debut and could shape well.
Black Sea Daa looked a decent prospect when scooting in at Newbury last month.
That was just a maiden so this is a fair hike in grade but she can figure.
Cell Sa Beela was far from disgraced at Royal Ascot when enjoying the move up to this trip. She needs to improve but there should be more to come.

That built on his easy Irish 2,000 Guineas success in May.
The way he finishes his races suggests this step up to 1m2f will bring improvement.
He gets 7lb and more from his older rivals and that can seal the deal.
Emily Upjohn doesn’t have banned Frankie in the saddle today but William Buick isn’t a bad sub.
She has decent form over this trip but her finest efforts have all been over 1m4f including her smooth Coronation Cup success at Epsom last time.
She goes on any ground and will be no pushover but the trip may just find her out.
Dubai Honour has a couple of Australian Group 1s on his CV over this distance and he was a good second in the 2021 Champion Stakes.
He deserves his place in this company but needs his very best to score.
West Wind Blows is no mug but has done all his winning at Group 3 level so needs a lot more.
HAYDOCK

LORDSHIP can keep up William Haggas’s fine record in this race.
The trainer has won two of the past three runnings and this three-year-old has scored at Yarmouth and Chepstow. This is tougher but he has more to come.
Pledgeofallegiance has won his past two from the front and Luke Morris will try to pull off the same tactics.
He stays well and could have more improvement in him.
Chillhi came home strongly over 1m4f at Chester and should appreciate this stiffer test of stamina. He looks on a fair mark.
Flower Of Dubai did the job well at Wolverhampton and has more to come after just two handicap runs. He should see out this trip too.
Rogue Sea has done well in maidens and is interesting upped in trip for this handicap debut.
Struth is better than we saw at Royal Ascot last time, while Banderas is another handicap debutant with more to offer.

SEA SILK ROAD was impressive when winning a Group 3 here last time out. She saw out this trip well and looks capable of better again.
Mimikyu would ideally prefer further and ran a belter when beaten in a photo at York last time.
She has run well here before and handles any ground.
Peripatetic got her own way in a small field at Goodwood last time but got the job done nicely.
This is tougher but the trip is ideal and she could take a step forward.
Aristia has a Group 1 win on her CV in France and was rusty when last at York latest.
She is better than that and will be fitter for that experience.
Time Lock was a no-show behind Sea Silk Road here latest. Her best form has come with cut in the ground and she’d come into this if it’s riding slow.
One For Bobby is a Listed winner in the mud but needs more against these rivals.

That’s not his true form with a convincing win at Newmarket in May much more like it.
He had more than three lengths in hand there and is effectively only 3lb higher thanks to the excellent Harry Burns’ claim.
He likes this trip and can finish a lot closer today. La Yakel is the potential springer in the pack.
He scored nicely at Ascot in September before a decent effort at Newmarket.
He’s coming back from a break but William Haggas will have him fit and he could be well ahead of this handicap mark.
Onesmoothoperator did his best work at the finish when fourth over course and distance last month.
There should be plenty of pace on in this big field which will bring his stamina into play.
He looks a decent price to make the frame.
Sheer Rocks is looking for a hat-trick after scooting in at Ascot and Epsom last time.
That was an especially impressive success as he didn’t hit top gear. A 5lb rise for that looks fair and gives him every chance.
Cumulonimbus had a bit up his sleeve when winning here four weeks ago. He has few miles on the clock so there should be more to come.
Alright Sunshine is the final runner for good trainer Keith Dalgleish and it would be no shock to see him run a big race from just 1lb above his last winning mark.
