I fell for the ‘M&S is cheap’ spiel so nipped there for my weekly shop – it cost a small fortune but I’ve got no regrets
SHE decided to pop into M&S to grab some bits for her new flat.
And even though Amber-Rose began by saying that she was just going to get what she wanted as she thinks she deserves it, the final bill was something of a shock.
“A little disclaimer for you guys because this is genuinely triggering. I picked up whatever I wanted today,” she began her TikTok video.
“There was no order, there was absolutely no organisation, there was no list.
“I just picked up whatever I wanted because I felt like I deserved it.”
To kick off, she picked up a huge plant, as she said: “I really like M&S‘ plant section.
“I feel like the plants actually last quite long and are good quality.”
She also got a vase that she liked, as well as two bottles of wine and loads of crisps.
“I feel like most of this shop consisted of snacks. I was just thinking with my hungry head,” she said.
After picking up some bottled water to try and counteract the evening’s salt intake, Amber-Rose tried to be a “responsible adult” and pick up some things she needed, such as kitchen foil.
“I’ve been dying to try out M&S range of fabric conditioners and cleaning products so I just picked up a couple of products I saw,” she said, popping some fabric conditioner and fabric freshening spray into her basket.
She got her favourite honey and mustard salad dressing, a box of chamomile teabags, some pasta, and a load of new spices and seasonings.
Then it was time for the fresh bit, and fruit and veg.
“Picked up some fruit and veg because honestly I love M&S fruit and veg section and feel like that’s actually affordable in my opinion and super good quality,” she said.
She didn’t want to buy too many fresh ingredients as she wasn’t going to be in much of the week.
“Genuinely we won’t have time to cook them and I hate wasting food,” she commented.
When they got to the till, they scanned through all the items, with the bill coming to £183.29.
“This was the final food shop,” she said.
“I don’t even know what to call this. It was a little bit disorganised, it cost us a small fortune.
“But absolutely no regrets, it went down a treat and we enjoyed ourselves.”
