Bargain hunters go mad for £50 iron that’s now just £30…with shoppers hailing the ‘absolute steal’ as the ‘best iron’
BARGAIN hunters are going wild for a £50 iron that’s been reduced down to just £30 – but you’ll need to move fast if you want to get your hands on one.
One savvy shopper, Sarah Allen, was left thrilled when she spotted the reduced iron when online shopping on Asda’s website.
The Asda fan proudly took to Facebook to show off her cut-price purchase, leaving many open-mouthed.
Posting in the social media group, Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, which has 2.2million members, the thrilled shopper attached two images of her new buy – the black and rose gold 2400x steam generator iron.
Sarah explained: “Just thought I would post this for anyone wanting a new iron.
“I got this on the Asda George website for £30.
“It is an absolute steal at that price considering I’ve spent a lot more on branded products and it is worth every penny.
“I’ve just used it and it is a really good purchase.
“The best iron I’ve had in a long time.”
Alongside the post, Sarah shared an image of her iron, as well as a picture of the iron’s box.
The iron has variable settings for all ironable fabrics, as well as a large water tank for bigger ironing tasks.
There’s also an auto shut off feature, as well as anti-scale and anti-drip features.
Sarah’s post has clearly impressed many, as it has amassed 178 likes and 72 comments.
Social media users were stunned at the price of the iron and were eager to get their hands on it.
At the same time, many Asda fans revealed that they too have this iron and would recommend it.
One person said: “I’ve got the same one, paid £50, it’s brilliant.”
Another added: “I have one too, would definitely recommend!”
At the same time, one shopper posted: “Ordered, thanks!”
Whilst another bargain hunter chimed in: “Thanks for this I’ve just bought one.”
Meanwhile, one Facebook user tagged a family member and advised: “You might want to try this iron, it’s a lot cheaper than the ones you showed me.”
But if you want to get your hands on this iron, you’ll need to head down to your local Asda as quickly as you can, as it is now sold out online.
