Christine McGuinness makes surprise return to TV as she teams up with Coronation Street star for reality show
CHRISTINE McGuinness has landed a spot on a BBC reality TV show.
The 35-year-old will appear alongside Coronation Street star Colson Smith, 24, on Celebrity Antiques Road Trip.
Mum-of-three Christine has already started filming alongside her pal, who she grew close to while taking part in The Games last year.
Colson, who plays Craig Tinker on the ITV soap, shared a snap of them as they got to work in Wakefield yesterday.
Celebrity Antiques Road Trip will see the pair get a budget in order to buy antiques that are then sold at auction.
They will compete against other celebrities and the winner is the one who makes the biggest profit.
Yesterday The Sun told how Coronations Street’s Amy Robbins and Emmerdale’s Michelle Hardwick are also taking part.
Amy, who plays Christina Boyd in the Cobbles, and Vanessa Woodfield actress Michelle were spotted at an auction house in Lincoln.
Back in June it was revealed Towie legend Gemma Collins signed up for Celebrity Antiques Road Trip in a move that’s left fans surprised.
The self-confessed diva will be joined by Radio 1 presenter and DJ Melvin Odoom.
Weeks earlier The Sun revealed Love Island 2022 winners Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu are also part of the new series.
The pair, who have now split, had already started filming in May.
The BBC declined to comment.
