Love Island legend takes brutal swipe at Ella B after Mitch reveals fears she’s ‘fake’
A LOVE Island favourite has taken a catty swipe at bombshell Ella B after her partner Mitch suggested she was “fake.”
During yesterday’s explosive Love Island, the gas engineer told pal Tyrique Hyde how he believed his girl is more bothered about being in the villa than being with him.
Love Island fans then called out Mitch for doubting the connection – before exposing what they dub the “calculated” reasons for his comments.
Now Kady McDermott, 27 – who returned to the current ITV2 matchmaking series and left with partner Ouzy See, 24 – has had her say.
She took to her x account, formerly known as Twitter, to sarcastically write: “Now you just notice Mitch???? Bombastic side eye.”
Fans were quick to react to her dig, with one writing: “Mitch only wanted to win the battle with Scott.. never cared about Ella or Abi.”
Another mused: “Because he’s made it this far with barely any love interest he’s obviously thinking the public absolutely love him, now he’s been in the bottom 2 twice in a row with Ella B, he thinks she must be the problem.”
A fan surmised: “Forever Messy Mitch.”
One then giggled: “I’m expecting no mercy from you at the reunion.”
Ella B and Mitch pair had narrowly swerved eviction when the islanders chose Scott and Abi as the least compatible – meaning they were booted out.
After suggesting she was fake, Mitch then appeared to contradict himself by giving her a big kiss.
Meanwhile, fans think they have sussed Mitch’s reasoning for his comments, this being a form of self-preservation.
One fan took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to write: “Mitch is calculated, he only called Ella B fake because he knows he’s gunna be dumped next and doesn’t want to be embarrassed by his boys.”
Another put: “Mitch: I think Ella B is fake (after being in the last 3) — um did you ever consider you’re the fake one hun?”
Earlier this week, the northerner was embroiled in another spat after being accused of “bullying” ex partner Abi Moores.
