Jeremy Clarkson’s girlfriend flooded with support as she reveals Clarkson’s Farm has won huge battle with council
JEREMY Clarkson’s girlfriend has been flooded with support after revealing Clarkson’s Farm has won a huge battle with the council.
The Sun columnist and former Top Gear star had been locked in a row with West Oxfordshire District Council since last year.
Jeremy, 63, had submitted plans to provide more parking at Diddly Squat farm.
Originally refusing the plans, the council were left dealing with local uproar.
After an appeal from Jeremy, planning chiefs have now granted him permission for his new car park.
His girlfriend Lisa Hogan took to social media to share an update on construction with fans.
Posting a clip on Instagram, she said: “Exciting news with my new car park!
“Look at that, it’s all happening and guess who’s first to park on it? (pointing to herself) Oh yeah.”
Fans have been left delighted with the progress and commented under her post.
One said: “Well done just keep the woke clowns from the council away.”
A second wrote: “At long last. So why didn’t those muppets just say yes in the first place.”
“Bloody well done. Looking forward to Clarkson farm 3,” said a third.
While a fourth commented: “Congratulations at long last! I cannot believe you had all this trouble when houses are being built everywhere on green land!”
