People always say I’m out of my fiancé’s league but I don’t care, I’m all about personality
A MODEL who is constantly told she’s out of her fiancé’s league has defended their relationship.
Kirsty Brammeld has dated Paul for more than seven years and often hears from folk who say she’s too pretty for her partner.
But she reckons the backhanded compliments show people still have the wrong priorities when it comes to love.
The content creator, from the West Midlands, says: “Before I became popular online nobody really said anything.
“I had maybe one or two comments from strangers but it’s constant now.
“Sometimes I look at it as a compliment, it all depends on how it’s worded.
“My partner sometimes gets insulted but we also do see the funny side of things.
“People are just jealous and will say anything.
“People go off looks over personality all the time instead of seeing the bigger picture on who that person really is.
“You could be the best looking person in the world and still have the world’s ugliest personality.
“I guess some people see it differently and think image is everything.”
Meanwhile, a dating expert has revealed why revealing your political party could ruin your matchmaking chances.
Legions of Scots looking for love on sites like Tinder, Bumble and Hinge are making it clear right wingers will be left on the shelf.
They are leaving curt messages for potential partners such as “Don’t message if you’re a Tory”
The matchmaking apps let people select a potential lover by swiping right on their profile if they find them attractive.
Life coach Sarah Louise Ryan last night said she wasn’t surprised at the findings.
She said: “In a cost of living crisis, if someone is outwardly Tory they may not be as successful on a dating app.
“In a time where not just singles but people generally in Scotland aren’t able to actualise a high quality of life it would make sense that singles are politically divided.”
