I had super long hair but wanted a ‘wolfcut’ – I’m flabbergasted at how bad it is and people say its aged me 20 years
A MUM was left horrified when her wolf haircut was botched and left her with a fringe sprouting at all angles.
Megan Rigsby assumed the stylist “knew what they were doing” as she was at a posh salon… but once she got to the car, she accepted that she was sorely mistaken.
Wolfcuts, which supposedly originated in South Korea, feature chunky and shaggy layers on top of wispy and wavy ends at the back.
Celebs who have sported the look include Miley Cyrus, singer Billie Eilish and Game Of Thrones actress Maisie Williams.
Before mum-of-three Megan sat in the hairdresser’s seat, she had beautiful and long brunette locks.
Fast forward a few hours, she had a thick bob and wispy fringe with a mind of its own.
The mummy blogger, from California, US, took to TikTok to share her hair horror, saying that she was “flabbergasted at how bad” her new ‘do was.
“You’re kidding me,” she repeated into the camera.
“I said layered, cut with like, wolf cut layers.
“What? There’s nothing there.
“This is a bob. There are no layers.”
When Megan tucked the short strands behind her ears, she was left with a static fringe which defied gravity.
Horrified viewers told her that the chop had “aged her 20 years” and pointed out that her new bob was a different length on each side.
Luckily for her, Megan isn’t the only person who has had a botched wolfcut.
“This happened to me and it put me into labour,” one mum said. “It was so short I couldn’t put my hair up and while I was pushing, I was cursing the stylist.”
“Literally the same thing happened to me,” another woman penned. “I asked for a wolfcut and halfway through, she asked me what a wolfcut is.”
Megan’s video has totted up over 11 million views since it was posted five days ago.
In an update, she revealed that not only did she pay full price for the botched haircut… She even TIPPED the stylist.
When asked why she didn’t complain at the time, Megan said she “hates confrontation”.
“I will be writing myself a script tonight so that I can call tomorrow,” she said. “And possibly go back in and see if we can do something about this.”
