Beauty fans scramble to nab new Home Bargains £1.99 perfume dupe which is £233 cheaper than its designer twin
BEAUTY fans are scrambling to check out the brand new perfume dupe from Home Bargains.
So if you’re a perfume lover but can’t afford to splash the cash on pricey scents, you’ve come to the right place.
We all want to smell nice, right? But at an eye-watering £235 a bottle, Baccarat Rouge is one that many of us simply can’t afford.
However, luckily for you, one savvy shopper spotted a much cheaper and almost identical alternative when shopping in her local Home Bargains.
Jolyy Don recently took to social media to show off her latest bargain buy – a perfume that’s strikingly similar to its designer twin Baccarat Rouge.
Posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, a private group with 2.3 million members, Jolyy shared a picture of her dupe find.
The scent is named Red Ruby and comes in a beautiful gold bottle.
Not only is the red and gold design similar to Baccarat Rouge, but apparently it’s got a lovely, strong scent too.
Jolyy explained: “Found this new scent in Home Bargains, £1.99. Similar to Baccarat Rouge 540.”
For just £1.99, it’s no surprise that Jolyy was thrilled with her find, saving a staggering £233.01.
If you haven’t smelt the iconic Maison Francis Kurkdjian designer fragrance before, it is a highly unique scent, with hints of jasmine, saffron, amberwood and cedar.
For less than an average Starbucks order, you’ll need to move fast if you want to nab the Home Bargains cheaper alternative.
Jolyy shared her post just 19 hours ago and it has quickly amassed 59 likes and 42 comments.
Shoppers were stunned at the dupe and many were eager to get their hands on it.
One person said: “I bought this, couldn’t think what it smelt of … but it’s very strong, great bargain.”
Another tagged a friend and added: “If you see this, pick it up please?”
Whilst a third mentioned a loved one and commented: “I’m going to a great big one on Thursday if you want me to get you one?”
Meanwhile, one perfume fan noted: “Omg my fav!”
As someone else shared: “Oh Yes! and Pink Lies are really expensive smelling also £1.99.”
