I visited a ‘secret’ home store that’s better than IKEA – it even has middle aisle bargains from 79p
A SAVVY shopper has hailed a bargain home store as better than IKEA after picking up some cheap gems.
Laura, from Scotland, regularly shares her organising tips and supermarket hauls with fans on TikTok (@unorganisedmummy).
In a recent video, the mum visited a little-known homeware retailer for a look around.
“I love myself a wee shop to the Home Store and More“, she said.
“This is the Craigleith one [in Edinburgh], there’s also one in East Kilbride.
“It is organisation heaven.”
Unable to resist adding items to her trolley, she added: “They have the most enormous range for your kitchen. I wish I was a baker, but I burn stuff.
“They still have some of their summer range in. They’ve got water suits which are less than half price.
I’m pretty sure they’ve got a bigger range of plates than IKEA, and some of them start from £1.”
With only two stores in Scotland, shoppers have said Home Store and More is the hidden gem that they didn’t realise existed.
The bargain superstore, which is Ireland’s leading independent homeware retailer, has also been hailed as B&M meets The Range and is full of incredible deals for your home.
Laura joked she wants to do a remodel of her “plain” living room so she can buy new pieces from the store and has already picked up blue and grey cushions for a fresh colour scheme.
And she was very impressed by the shop’s sale items.
“They have major bargains in the middle aisles”, she said.
“Who doesn’t love reusable ice cubes [for 79p]? And picnic blankets are only £4.99.”
Social media users were stunned by everything on offer in the homeware store.
One said: “Looks like a cross between Home Bargains and Dunelm.”
A second admitted: “Never seen one of these before! Let’s go for a visit.”
Meanwhile, a third gushed: “Love it.”
