I’m on a ‘lazy girl’ weight loss journey – my go-to meal uses pantry items, it’s super delicious and will fill you up
A CONTENT creator has shared the go-to lazy girl meal that has helped her on her weight loss journey.
The influencer showed her followers how to make the handy meal using items from her pantry.
The TikTok user, who goes by Gluten Free Goodness (@glu.tenfreegoodness), said: “If you get sick of the meal prep but still want to count your calories, this is a great recipe to bookmark.
“This low-calorie meal sits around the 450 [calorie] mark, and it’s super easy to make,” she told viewers in the caption of the clip.
The TikToker revealed that she uses one cup of white rice, a can of corn, tuna in spring water, 99% fat-free roasted red capsicum, baby spinach mix, and a creamy herb dressing.
She revealed the dressing is “made up of yogurt, sour cream, fresh herbs, and some garlic salt.”
While she previously shared the recipe for her DIY green goddess dressing, the influencer pointed out: “This is all stuff that is sitting on the shelf in your pantry.”
For the first step, the TikToker added the rice, tuna, and corn to a bowl.
The content creator then added “a good serving” of red capsicum to the dish.
She continued: “Then we’re just going to add in some volume so we’re going to put in some of this baby spinach leaf mix.”
The influencer also pointed out: “This meal is also really good budget-wise because you’re using canned foods, which are going to break your budget.”
She concluded that the meal is “low calorie, super delicious, and it’s going to fill you up for longer.”
In the caption of the clip, the TikToker added: “Plus you’re getting some protein in with adding tuna.”
A fast food fan who lost 70 pounds shared her go-to orders from Chik-fil-A, Chipotle, and Dunkin.
Another woman revealed the meal she swears by for helping to lose weight.
A third TikToker showed her followers the easy dinner casserole she ate on her weight loss journey.
