I’m a gypsy and gave my kitchen a quick makeover using a B&Q bargain buy – people can’t believe how good it looks
A DIY fan has shared how she totally transformed her kitchen with a simple budget buy.
Suzy, from the UK, is in the middle of decorating her entire house all by herself, and has filmed the process to share on social media.
The brunette beauty was sick of looking at her dark and dingy kitchen so decided to give it a revamp on a budget.
Before, the kitchen had bright white walls and dark counter tops, but Suzy wanted it to feel more homely.
She began: “I really didn’t like the dark table tops, I just threw everything off and yeah, everything just needed a change.
“So this came from B&Q had a little look, really liked it and decided that was the shade we were gonna go with.”
She painted the walls Magnolia to inject some warmth and then got on with changing the countertops.
Using vinyl wrap from B&Q in a stunning gold and beige marble effect she transformed the boring countertops to a more modern look.
And to top it off, she used the left over vinyl to redecorate two of her side tables in the kitchen as well.
The B&Q vinyl wrap costs just £9.50 for a metre, saving Suzy a hefty sum of money instead of paying out for brand new worktops.
Chuffed with her work, Suzy said: “I’m so happy with it, it might be like, stupid to some people but I actually, I’m really proud of this kitchen.”
The clip of her new kitchen posted to her TikTok account @cuzinsuzy92 was a hit with followers receiving over 3,000 likes.
People were quick to praise Suzy for her DIY skills in the comments.
One person wrote: “Looks lots better.”
Another commented: “Beautiful and bright.”
“Well done, it looks really nice,” penned a third.
Meanwhile a fourth said: “You’ve done a brilliant job looks amazing.”
Someone else added: “Your house looks well nice already.”
