I turned £20 into £220 in minutes by using an effortless upcycling hack – it’s so easy, anyone can do it
DO you want to make £200 with little effort and minimal work?
A woman claims she did this by painting an old cabinet and selling it on for a profit, and she barely spent any time doing it.
Sydney-based artist @sandysai_ze uploaded a video claiming: “$40 (£20) into $440 (£220) in 14 seconds.”
The DIY lover showed how she picked up two old wooden bedside tables for a bargain price.
She then set about trying to spruce them up to look more expensive.
First, she cleaned them, lightly sanded them and then sprayed them with a primer.
The spray took seconds to apply, and then she went over the cabinet with a sage green paint.
Finally she added gold handles to make them look more premium.
Sandy showed off the stylish finished result and said she had then sold them for £220, representing a profit of £200.
The best part was it didn’t take long and she enjoyed the process.
Her clip has racked up over 16,000 likes and people praised the idea.
One said: “Very nice.”
Another added: “id love to do stuff like this but i live in units and have no yard or anywhere.”
And a third commented: “they look great…well done.”
