I’m a gardening pro… three houseplants that are virtually indestructible – they require almost no care & look amazing
A GARDENING enthusiast has listed three trendy houseplants that are almost impossible to kill even if you don’t have any knowledge.
Green houseplants are an easy way to give your home a new look on a budget – but many of them are high maintenance and require constant care.
Luckily, if you’re still at the very start of your gardening journey, one expert has taken to TikTok to share some plant options he described as ”virtually indestructible”.
According to the pro, TikTok user @rootgrowings, these houseplants are impossible ”to kill”, as they’re resilient to even the harshest of conditions.
First up in the video was the trendy Snake plant with its striking patterns and vibrant green hues.
As the plant it able to thrive in low light and with little water, the Snake plant has become ”the go-to” option for many households – it looks stylish too.
The gardening fanatic also advised his 84.9k fans on the platform to look into the ever so popular Pothos, also known as the Devil’s Ivy.
”Known for its cascading vines and vibrant leaves, this versatile beauty not only enhances your plant aesthetic but also tolerates forgetful watering.
”It’s a win-win for any plant lover,” the expert noted.
Last but certainly not least was the trendy ZZ plant, commonly known as the Zanzibar Gem which is natively found in East Africa, particularly Tanzania.
Describing the plant, the pro said: ”Its glossy, dark green leaves scream sophistication – and its reputation for surviving neglect is legendary.”
The gardening guru emphasised that there’s no need to worry about low light or irregular watering – the Zanzibar Gem will survive it all.

A second chuckled: ”I killed this plants with succes every time [sic].”
”even plastic plants will die with me,” someone chuckled.
