I’m a stay at home mom with no budget – I spent $403 in a day on Chick-fil-A lunch, Trader Joe’s and Amazon
A STAY-AT-HOME mom with no budget has spent $403 in a day on essentials – but that also included a treat for the kids.
This busy lady has four children and that is a lot of mouths to feed.
Her day included a grocery shop at Trader Joe’s, lunch at Chick-fil-A, and extras for the family from Amazon.
Daria Langel (@darialangel), who has 13,000 followers on her TikTok, has her hands full.
But she loves it: “Once upon a time a teen mom. Now just a stay-at-home mom of four,” is how she describes herself on her platform.
In this post, she gave viewers a peek into her home life.
“What I spent for the day as a stay-at-home mom who’s not on a strict budget,” she said.
“But it’s also not a free for all,” she added.
A massive grocery shop was tackled first, with children in tow.
“First up, we had to go to Trader Joe’s. This was $186.”
But she rationalized the total: “I do have four kids, so my groceries are always expensive.”
Daria wanted to treat her brood, so it was lunch next: “Then we went to Chick-Fil-A and got lunch and it was $17.46. I did have a lot of rewards though.”
This was followed by an essential: “And then I had to pay for ISR (Infant Swimming Resource) classes. They are $100 a week.”
Finally, she squeezed more out of her budget with some extras from Amazon.
“I bought a toy car, garage, and trays for my Bogg bag.
“And it bought my total for the day to $403.22. Monday was an expensive day,” she admitted.

“I love this because I’m the same. Not rich but not poor.”
