I bought the ‘world’s thinnest dress’ & never thought it’d fit… the fact it was see-through was the least of my problems
SHE’S known for wearing “weird” clothes.
And Alaa decided to continue trying out some of the oddest outfits by buying the world’s thinnest dress.
She took to TikTok to share a video of herself with her “very, very narrow dress” – holding it up in front of her to show it’s only just wider than one of her legs.
“I didn’t do anything to it, it literally came like this,” Alaa explained.
“But it does expand like an accordion. It’s a little bit see through.
“I’m scared to put it on because… have you seen it?
“But also because I don’t wear all black because it makes me sad but I think it’s time to embrace this colour.”
She then put the dress on, over a black thong and bra.
“So this is what the front looks like and this is the back of the dress,” she said.
“But can I be honest for once in my life? I don’t think it’s flattering!”
She then bent over to show the “weird spot” around her stomach where the dress folded – making her look bigger than she is.
“It’s also not the easiest to walk in,” she added.
After asking for advice from her followers as to how to style the dress, Alaa shared another video, in which she tried wearing a corset belt over the top.
That didn’t work, so she opted to pull the dress down at the front – showing her bra.
“It doesn’t take care of the weird fold but it gives it a little something,” she said.
Alaa also showed how the dress “snaps right back” into its thin, stiff shape as soon as she takes it off.
“I would personally crop it into a top and then make the rest into a skirt and cut the part that’s bulging out off the skirt,” one person commented on the post.
With Alaa replying: “You’re speaking my language!!”
“Make it two pieces!” another added.
And Alaa admitted she was desperate to try that – adding that if she’s seen baring scissors in another video, it will be to turn the dress into a top and skirt.
However, given that the mini version of the A. Røge Hove dress is £367, it would be an expensive gamble.
