Teacher reveals names of kids most likely to be naughty – and it’s bad news if you have an Axel
SHE’S got a tonne of “classroom experience” behind her.
So when it comes to the names that are most likely to be naughty, you can trust that Miss Carly knows the score.
The teacher took to TikTok to share a video explaining the most likely boy names to be naughty, as she added in the caption: “DISCLAIMER
“Negative associations to names are not considered when meeting a new student. We love and treat them all fairly!”
Carly – who is also a mum herself – kicked off her list with Axel, as she explained that the way you say the name looks like you’re saying “a*shole”.
“When you say his name it sounds like you’re swearing at him,” she said.
“So why would he be good for a teacher?”
Knox was next on the list, as Carly continued: “He’s going to be angry at me, he’s going to be angry at his mum, we want him to knock it off.”
“Then there’s Xander – I think his issue is that he’s confused why his name starts with an X, which makes him confused at all instructions ever again,” Carly said.
“Maybe we should just avoid Xs at this point!”
Jager’s also not advised – Carly didn’t go into the details why but the similarity to the drink Jager Bomb might have something to do with it.
And she concluded her list with Bently.
“He doesn’t mean to be such a whiner in the classroom but I think it stems from the fact that he wants to be a traditional Benjamin, Ben, but he got Bently,” she said.
Carly then moved onto the names she loves, with Griffin topping the list.
“We love a Griffin – it’s like the new Theodore, Teddy, he’s just sweet, comforting,” she said.
Hudson is likely to be “creative and helpful”, while Paxton is fun and Declan is “going to be a sweet angel, funny, caring”.
People were quick to comment on Carly’s video, with one fellow teacher writing: “I have an Axel, Xander, and Bentley.”
“I know a Knox that the other kids call obKNOXious,” another added.
“Bentley 100%,” a third laughed.
“Omgosh this is spot on!” someone else wrote.
But not everyone agreed with Carly’s assessment.
“I know an Axel. Sweetest kid I’ve ever met,” one wrote.
“My son is Griffin. He’s like a rabid raccoon,” another added.
As a third commented: “I have NOT had good luck with Declans!”
