AN EX-MCDONALD’S employee has revealed a secret combination that will convert even the worst Filet-O-Fish haters.
Describing his mystery combination as a Filet-O-Fish hack, the ex McDonald’s chef said it is far superior to a traditional Filet-O-Fish.
Chef Mike Haracz used to be a McDonald’s corporate chef so has been sharing some of the brand’s hidden secrets.
In his role he also got to sample all of the fast food brand’s well-known recipes and mystery combinations.
He shared the delicious combination in a TikTok video online
Mike said if there is one combination that he stands buy it the pairing a Filet-O-Fish with the Big Mac sauce.
He said: “I have said this before.”
“As a McDonald’s corporate chef, I’ve tried a lot of different combinations, but a Filet-O-Fish with [BIG]Mac sauce is far superior to a regular Filet-O-Fish.”
Mike clarified you should substitute the existing Filet-O-Fish sauce with Big Mac sauce, not mix the two.
The Chef said he was completely confident in the combination being a winner and told his followers to go try it.
Mike said: “Go ahead and try it. Then respond and let me know that I was right, because I am 100% right.”
He added: “Get a fillet of fish with Mac sauce.”

Mike’s Tikok video quickly racked up over 50,000 views with many people arguing over their favourite combinations in the comments section.
It seems some users were not convinced Mike’s combination was a winner.
One user said: “I have a hard time believing this… I love the tartar sauce so much I get a side and dip my fries in it.”
Another said: “No way. Get the Filet-O-Fish with extra cheese and extra tartar. Nothing better.”
But many of Mike’s followers said they were excited to try it.
One user said: “Filet-O-Fish is the bomb, I will try this.”
Another said: “Mac sauce makes anything superior.”
“Listen: the correct answer is filet o fish with Mac sauce, cheese, and onion. It’s *so* good,” claimed a third.
