I bought a new Zara dress for my European summer vacation – you can see immediately why it was an embarrassing mistake
THERE’S nothing worse than planning the perfect outfit only to have the weather ruin it.
Whether you’re covering up a stylish look with a bulky coat or sweating through your favorite gray top, everyone knows the struggle.
In her video, TikTok user Sophie Ford (@sophie.ford3) revealed the embarrassing fashion mishap that happened to her.
Sophie showed her followers a clip of her walking through the streets of a Spanish city.
The tourist can be seen wearing a light green satin dress with a halter neckline.
However, there was a clear issue with the stylish dress from the front and the back.
“When the new Zara dress isn’t Europe summer sweatproof,” Sophie wrote in the clip.
As she walked away from the camera, a large sweat stain can clearly be seen at the back of the dress.
The stained area stretched from just below Sophie’s bum to the hem of the dress, which reached her ankles.
When the TikToker turned around she pointed out additional stains at the stomach area of the dress.
“Zara has done me dirty,” she wrote in the caption of the video.
Sophie joked that her “hot girl summer” had turned her into a “sweaty mess.”
TikTok users took to the comments section to share their own experiences with sweat stains in the summer heat.
“I had a dress from H&M and this happened, I was mortified, never again,” wrote one viewer.
Another follower said: “I have actual nightmares about this happening, it never has but the thought haunts me.”
“Zara satiny dresses are so pretty but it can even just be slightly warm and my underboob sweat will show, it’s so embarrassing,” commented a third person.
