I’m a cleaning fan and have an easy way to get rid of yellow stains off your toilet – and you don’t need to scrub
A CLEANING fan has shared a super easy hack to getting rid of yellow stains on your toilet.
And the best part is this method requires very little scrubbing and elbow grease
Professional cleaners who go by @Dalcleaningshow online shared their hack in a TikTok video online.
They said: “Make your toilet sparkle.”
The cleaning fan shared the secret mixture he used to rid his toilet of yellow stains.
For their special mixture the cleaning fan mixes two tablespoons of bicarb, two tablespoons of dish soap and some water.
Then they gently apply the paste to the yellow stains on the toilet with a toothbrush, this is left on the toilet for two hours.
Afterwards the cleaning fan sprays the entire toilet seat with vinegar and scrubs the stains off with a sponge. You could also use a magic eraser here for less effort.
Be sure to go over the toilet one more time with a spritz of multi purpose spray cleaner to wipe away all the mixture.
The cleaning fan said their toilet afterwards was: “Magic clean.”
The cleaning fan also said if you have a really tough yellow stain you could use the same method overnight.
He said: “I believe it will lift your stain. Apply the vinegar and leave it overnight to lift any yellow stain around the toilet.”
