Love triangles, serial killers and HUGE whodunnit – Corrie, EastEnders & Emmerdale’s biggest autumn storylines revealed
BRITAIN’S top soaps are bringing out the big guns to deliver an autumn packed with drama, intrigue, love and lust.
They’re armed with bumper storylines to win over viewers of the Big Three – Coronation Street, EastEnders and Emmerdale – after a rocky summer with stars quitting and even the top exec at Emmerdale moving on.
It comes after The Sun also revealed budgets were tightening at all three major soaps – which could impact top stars.
But for the 10million plus viewers who sit down to watch their favourite soaps daily, there’s plenty to look forward to.

On Coronation Street, serial killer Stephen Reid’s reign of terror will finally come to an end.
And we’ll learn the truth about new arrival Cassie Plummer – played by the legendary Brookside actress Claire Sweeney.

An insider said: “Bosses are staying tight-lipped about who’s behind the attack and who is left fighting for their lives, but viewers can expect lots of drama as the storyline unfolds on-screen and the residents of Walford deal with the fallout of the event.”
The truth about Cassie Plummer revealed

Alfie’s cancer

FOR months Stacey Slater has been terrorised by deranged teacher-turned-stalker Theo Hawthorne.
She has no idea that he is behind her nightmares after he groomed her family into accepting him without question.
