Pay less than shelf prices with these five inflation busting shopping apps
THE price you see does not have to be the price you pay.
Shoppers now have a host of scanner apps at their finger tips to see if they can better the cost on the shelves.
Knock pounds off your bill with these helpful shopping apps[/caption]So when you are next in the aisles, knock pounds off your bill with these tools . . .
B&M: Bargain hunters use B&M’s scanner to find discounts in-store before staff have marked them out.
The scanner is within B&M Stores’ free mobile app.
Download and keep to hand on your next shopping trip.
Shoppers can find items priced from as little as 10p, with seasonal and sale stock most likely to scan at a lower price.
CO-OP: Download the Central Co-op Scan & Go app and you can save 25 per cent off branded goods when shopping in stores.
The app features money-off discounts which you’ll see once a local store is selected.
Add discounts to your shopping basket and they will come off when you scan and pay through the service.
Offers are continually updated.
SAINSBURY’S: The store’s SmartShop app allows customers to scan and bag in-store shops.
As well as skipping checkout queues, you can access special Your Nectar Prices when you link your Nectar account.
These lower prices are personalised discounts based on products you have bought in the past.
Your Nectar Prices can be around 20 per cent less than the item’s regular price.
TROLLEY.CO.UK: This shopping comparison app from this website features a scanner that you can use to compare prices on branded items.
Use the app to scan a particular item when out shopping and you can check if you can buy it cheaper at a rival supermarket.
JISP SCAN & SAVE: This app gives discounts at local convenience stores, such as Nisa and Londis.
Find vouchers local to you and scan barcodes in-store to collect deals.
